Maria is an experienced associate in the Auditing and Assurance practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Seattle since 2006. She serves some of the biggest clients in the financial services industry, including Russell Investments. Maria is actively involved in the Diversity Circle and campus recruiting at PwC, and she is currently pursuing her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license from the state of Washington. She graduated from Seattle University (SU) in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with a double major in Finance and Accounting.
As the current President for the ALPFA Seattle Chapter, she has been involved with ALPFA since 2004. Maria co-founded the ALPFA Seattle chapter in March 2005, and has served as the Vice President for the past two years. Her leadership and passion for ALPFA have been instrumental in the success and dynamic growth of the chapter, as she helped create a framework for the chapter and for its board of directors and committees. She was instrumental recruiting new members, board members, and corporate partners.
