Mario is an Intellectual Property (IP) Manager at Weyerhaeuser’s Project Management Office. Mario is responsible for providing intellectual property support to new product development teams. His responsibilities include conducting intellectual property competitive analyses, managing the strategic use of intellectual property (IP) to create value through IP creation, protection, acquisition and licensing, and developing and interpreting industry trends.
Prior to this role, Mario worked as a Technical Specialist for New Product Development at Weyerhaeuser’s R&D Center. He provided technical support to new product development teams and manufacturing facilities of cellulose fiber-based products.
Mario holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Master of Business Administration from Seattle University.
